About This Pixton Guide

What this site is

This site documents Pixton, the comic-creation platform used in K-12 classrooms, in more depth than a vendor help centre is structured to. Pixton Comics Inc. publishes around 120 short help articles across help.pixton.com and two older systems. Those articles are named after features. Teachers search after symptoms. This site closes that gap.

There are 11 guides here today across 4 topics, and more are added as they are written and tested. We do not put up placeholder pages to catch traffic before the content behind them exists, so everything listed on this site is something you can actually read.

What this site is not

Pixzton is not Pixton. We cannot access your account, reset a password, issue a refund, or see your students' work. For any of that you need the official site at Pixton.com. We have no affiliation with, endorsement from, or commercial relationship with Pixton Comics Inc..

The name is one letter away from theirs and we would rather say so plainly than have you work it out halfway down a page.

What the guides are checked against

Every factual claim on this site traces to something Pixton Comics Inc. has published. The sources used most are the official help center at help.pixton.com — particularly its Account, Classrooms, Projects and Technical Support categories — the educator terms of use for anything involving billing, renewal and refunds, the published system requirements, the domain allow-list, and the subscription and pricing pages on Pixton.com. Where a guide quotes a number, a time window or a UI label, that is where it came from.

Where Pixton’s documentation is silent — and on troubleshooting it often is — the guides say “usually” or “in practice” rather than presenting inference as fact. The editorial policy sets out exactly what “checked” means on this site and what it does not.

How guides get written

• Every fix is reproduced before it is written up, not summarised from documentation.
• Steps are ordered by how often they actually resolve the problem, not by how the product is organised.
• Where a fix only works on certain devices — and on school hardware that matters a lot — the page says so.
• Pages carry a verification date. Pixton ships changes regularly and stale screenshots are worse than no screenshots.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, out of date, or missing the case that applies to you, tell us on the contact page. Corrections are made quickly and the verification date is reset when they are.
